John Ross & Sons is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team at our Ragged Lake location! As the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada, we seek energetic and safety minded individuals to join our company.
Primary Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with the forklift

Maintain organized inventory, track or label materials as required to ensure accuracy

Check machinery daily, maintain, and fix minor issues to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency
-
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Must have a minimum 2 years’ experience operating a forklift

Steel toed boots
-
Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs
-
Ability to work in in a fast paced working environment
-
Ability to maintain and organize inventory is a priority
-
Must be able and equipped to work in all weather conditions
