The Systems Administrator would work as part of our current IT employee base assisting in the smooth operations of desktops, laptops, printers and networking infrastructure as well as supporting staff on a day-to-day basis. It's a great opportunity to utilize acquired skills and to gain new ones.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP phones, cell phones and network infrastructure
- Deploy and test PC’s for new and/or existing users
- Performs daily helpdesk operations as requested by users and assigned
- Provide technical support and training to users as needed in software and in-house systems
- Identify, resolve, and track technical problems in a timely manner
- Provide support via remote access, email, phone, and others to remote staff
- Maintain accurate IT inventory
- Create and maintain documentations for operations, resolutions and software
- Proactively improve knowledge of hardware/software through self-studying and research
Skills
- Experience with Windows server OS and Desktop OS,
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services, smartphones (Samsung Android, iPhone) support and configuration
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, GPO
- Exposure in administering Microsoft Business Central (create users, assign security permission) is an asset
- Basic knowledge of Windows Hyper-V, VMWare
- Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, Juniper
- Basic knowledge of storage systems (SAN/NAS) NetApp, Azure Storage
- Basic knowledge of backup services Veeam, Commvault
- Some experience in programming (.Net, PowerApps, Scripting, and reports writing is an asset)

Requirements
- University/College degree/diploma/equivalent (co-op) or demonstrated competency through relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified IT Professional, CompTIA, etc.) or experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with the attention to detail, efficient, committed to deadlines
- Must be highly fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and have patience when supporting non-technical users
- Must be able to work after-hours, weekends and nights when needed (occasional)

Salary: $47,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
