Job Description:
Pura Vida Vans, a leading provider of custom van conversions, is seeking a skilled and motivated person to join our team on a full-time basis. If you have a passion for high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a desire to work in the fast-growing van life industry, we want to hear from you! Preference will be given to those with knowledge of 12 volt electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install and wire electrical systems in custom van conversions according to specifications and drawings provided.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate installation of electrical components and systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- There may also be a need for some woodworking task assistance in the construction of wall and ceiling panels or other light cabinetry.
Requirements:
- Experience in the Electrical sector or similar role, preference will be given to those that have some experience in the installation of 12 Volts DC electrical systems, typically found in camper vans.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring techniques.
- Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with van conversions or similar custom fabrication projects.
- Knowledge of solar power systems and integration.
- Understanding of battery management systems
- Training will be provided to the right candidate
