Grand View Manor is a not for profit long term care home known to support our community through our commitment to quality care and innovative support for both clients and staff. In our 142 bed facility, care is provided in an enriched housing, an assisted living, and a nursing home setting.

Position Summary:
- involved with all aspects of tray set-up and assembly
- preparing and serving of food, including assisting with special diet preparation
- delivery and pick-up of food carts
- stripping of trays and tables in the dining rooms
- dishwashing, stocking shelves
- position may involve vegetable, sandwich, salad, dessert, nourishment, etc. preparation and service
- perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- previous experience within institutional food service an asset
- ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- ability to perform routine written tasks
- good communication skills
- willingness to learn new tasks
- team player
- ability to lift up to 25kgs, stand long periods of time
- recent training in safety/sanitation, such as the Food Safety Course, would be a asset
