Job Overview:
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Junior Full Stack .NET Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work in an Agile Scrum team to develop our industry leading Applied Epic software product using C#, React, TypeScript, and SQL Server, as well as maintain or enhance legacy features using VB.NET. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum team members to deliver high quality technical solutions that answer our clients’ business requirements. We are looking for developers to deliver clean, well-written, enterprise scale applications.
What You'll Do

Become a dedicated participant of your agile scrum team

Collaborate with other members on the Agile Scrum team to self-manage feature development to completion

Collaborate with other developers on technical solutions
-
Participate in sprint reviews of completed functionality at the end of each sprint

Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers
-
Manage multiple projects using organizational/planning skills
-
Operate within defined standards and procedures
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:
-
Ability to work 100% remotely, or from an Applied Systems office
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
-
1-3+ years’ professional experience creating enterprise software using C#, .NET, TypeScript, React or Angular or Vue, SQL Server, and Visual Studio

Familiar with Agile frameworks, ideally Scrum or Kanban using tools like Jira and Confluence
-
Experience in leveraging cloud environments (e.g., GCP, Azure) and open-source tools

Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment
-
Possess an excellent work ethic and able to deliver solutions in committed timeframes

Proven technical abilities

Skilled troubleshooting and research abilities

Must possess excellent communication skills

Ability and willingness to be part of a high-functioning team

S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
