Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and maintain budgets for the organization
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets
- Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and regulations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accurate recording of transactions
- Stay updated on technical accounting standards and apply them to financial reporting
Skills:
- Proficient in bookkeeping software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Analytical mindset to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in financial data
- Knowledge of payroll processing and relevant laws/regulations
- Familiarity with financial report writing techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members
