WHAT TO EXPECT
As MES/OT Solutions Architect, your mandate will be to develop strategies, frameworks and integration guidelines for our ERP, MES (Production Execution) and Operational Technologies (OT) systems. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the architecture put forward to ensure seamless data flow and system performance.
On a day-to-day basis, you will act as an MES functional and technical expert to support the end-to-end MES solution of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to meet production execution, logistics and quality requirements.
You'll work closely with the various stakeholders to identify issues and guide the process in order to best serve the company's internal customers. In addition, you will work closely with the IT, IS and Automation teams to carry out the various targeted mandates. (Business Analysts, IS Infrastructure Analysts, Analyst Programmers, Automation Technicians and Engineers).
The cybersecurity aspect will be part of your daily routine, as the solutions put forward must be robust at all levels in order to meet requirements in terms of data confidentiality, data integrity and availability of services and data. You'll play an important role in bridging the gap between operational technologies, information technologies and corporate information systems.
Here's an overview of your tasks:
Actively participate in the development of integration strategies, frameworks and guidelines for ERP, MES and operational technologies (OT).
Take on the needs of various internal customers
Analyze and document various projects
Find and propose innovative solutions to various challenges
Select and implement the best strategy for securing implemented solutions
Implement a robust architecture to meet business continuity requirements
Participate in ongoing knowledge sharing within the team
Collaborate with various stakeholders on the implementation, improvement and maintenance of solutions (Performance and Optimization)
Actively participate in the development of the future IT, IS, OT ecosystem vision and strategy
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role
Understanding of manufacturing process(es)
Strong analytical skills (analytical depth)
Ability to understand and assimilate new information
In-depth knowledge of ERP and MES systems
Knowledge of control systems, SCADA, PLCs and IIOT devices
Knowledge of operational (OT) and information (IT) technologies
Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
Good knowledge of cybersecurity principles
Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills
Collaboration and team spirit
Ability to manage several files simultaneously
Dynamic person who likes to take on new challenges, initiative
Rigorous and organized
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (Asset)
Bilingual (English / French)
