Application Developer
Reporting to the Manager, Applications & Support, the Web Developer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, correcting, and documenting moderate to highly complex programs
Here is what a typical day looks like
- Performing business continuity and disaster recovery activities
- Defining and producing integration builds to create applications and prepare for delivery
- Identifying improvements and developing transition plans for internal Technology Services processes and standards
- Performing design and code reviews to ensure that uniform application, system and/or database design standards are maintained
- Producing integration test specifications to conduct tests, record failures and conduct fault diagnoses
- Participating in defining and developing technical specifications to meet systems’ requirements
- Providing guidance and support to team members as a subject matter expert
- Assisting Developers in troubleshooting problems and recommending coding improvements
The value you bring
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of ASP .Net Core
- Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQL Server, DB2 and MySQL
- Familiarity with caching mechanisms such as Redis
- Knowledgeable on Application Life Cycle Management tools like Azure DevOps
- Knowledgeable on Cloud compute/technologies
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Applications
- Proven experience with Active Directory
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, CMS, JavaScript, WordPress Ecommerce
- Responsive Frameworks
- Mobile Design Principles
- Proven experience developing web enabled user interfaces and architecture
Full-time - 37.5 hours/week
