ADGA has a current opportunity for a Junior Software Developer to join our team supporting the Military Command Software Centre (MCSC). The MCSC maintains a suite of mission-critical applications in support of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) operations including Monitor MASS/Nomad. The Junior Developer will manage and support the continuously evolving CAF requirements along with the following tasks:

Study existing PL SQL Code and write PL SQL code to meet requirements of change specifications;

Create, design and debug C++ and PL SQL programming codes to ensure technical performance;

Analyse the problems outlined by team seniors in terms of such factors as style and extent of information to be transferred to and from storage units, variety of items to be processed, extent of sorting, and format of final printed results; and

Any other related tasks requested by the team to support operations.
Qualifications
-
A degree from an accredited University OR Computer Programming or college specializing in Computer Science or Computer Programming OR at least 1 year of demonstrated experience as a Programmer/Software Developer.

A minimum of 6 months of demonstrated combined experience within the past 3 years in one of:
-
C++ using MS Visual Studio for application development; OR
-
SQL for applications development; OR
-
Web application design.

A minimum of 6 months of demonstrated experience developing software within an Agile development environment.

Demonstrated experience testing software applications within the past 3 years.
-
1+ year of demonstrated experience developing HRMS for large organizations like DND (10000+ users with 1000 concurrent users) applications will be considered a strong asset
