Position: Paralegal
Job Type: Full-Time, IN-PERSON
Hours: Monday – Thursday (8:30am-5:30pm), Friday (8:30am-5:00pm)

We are looking for a Licensed Paralegal to join our Kitchener team!
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented & experienced in client services. They will be responsible for the day-to-day sales and administration of their office, including but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective & active clients
- Provide in person, telephone & email consultations for prospective clients
- Accurately schedule client files
- Ensure confidentiality of all corporate & client information
- Provide professional correspondence with the courts, agents, clients & co-workers
- Review and draft legal documents
- Maintain general correspondence via telephone, email & fax inquires
- Request required documentation from the courts
- Request, receive & review disclosures
- Conduct legal research
- Conduct reconciliation & bank deposits of daily sales
- Verify agent invoices
- Comply with all corporate policies & procedures
- Assist with other clerical duties such as: data entry, archiving & maintaining company records
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Paralegal License
- Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of the POA/HTA & Criminal Code of Canada
- Must have the ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
- Must have good time management skills & pay close attention to detail
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of previous Paralegal experience
