Stan Seidenfeld Professional Corporation is a boutique, full-service, public accounting firm based in Toronto, Canada. In addition to our accounting and tax services, we also provide a wide range of advisory services to our corporate and individual clients. We support our clients through every step of their business cycle. Our clients are in many different industries such as dentistry, medicine, law, real estate, retail and manufacturing.
We are currently searching for a Senior Accountant for our North York office. As an integral member of our team, the Senior Accountant will:
· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting working papers
· Prepare corporate and personal tax returns
· Supervise junior staff
· Respond to various queries and requests from clients
· Ensure ASPE is being adhered to appropriately
Qualifications:
· CPA designation or significant process toward obtainment of designation
· Minimum of 2 years of recent Canadian Accounting experience at a Canadian Public Accounting firm
· Working knowledge of Caseware and Tax Prep/Profile
· Advanced knowledge of Canadian ASPE and financial statement disclosure
· Strong financial acumen and analytical agility
· Detail oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines
· Self-motivated, results driven and prefers to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
