Job Summary
EJCC operates two inclusive non-profit centres, providing exceptional care to approx 115 children between the ages of 5 months and 5 years. We offer a competitive wage, Professional Development opportunities, and excellent group benefits.
We are currently seeking an experienced cook for a new centre. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for 70-90 children in accordance with provincial regulations, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen, ordering food and supplies, creating appropriate menus, accommodating various allergies or dietary restrictions, etc.
Applicants must have current Food Handler Safety certificate, current First Aid with CPR level C, current Criminal Background check with Vulnerable Sector search, and a current Child Abuse Registry check. Prior experience is required; experience in a licensed child care centre is an asset.
