Our client is a national distributor of steel products, and has been in business for over 50 years, with multiple locations. This role will have you reporting into the Regional credit manager, and the would have you responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:
The duties will include the following:
- opening customer accounts and setting up credit limits
- releasing and holding of orders
- follow up with customers on past due invoices
- matching of debits and credits
- work closely with Sales reps, and managers
- work closely with manager for write-offs
- ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Credit and Collections experience in a manufacturing/distribution industry
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to commute to office 5 days/week
