Responsibilities:
- Preparing and ensuring all food according to standards set by Executive Chef
- Monitoring food holding, fridge and freezer temperatures
- Keeping aware of daily functions in restaurant and catering
- Minimizing spoilage, waste and exercising portion control.
- Organization and time management
- FIFO
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to ever evolving situations
- Show creative input
- Highly reliable and responsible
- Strong English Language and communication
- Ability to multitask
- Supervise and train first cooks on your station
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year experience in a similar role or high volume restaurant
- Food safe level 1 certification is an asset
- Red Seal is an asset
- Ability to lift 25 kg
- Ability to work 8 hour shift standing
- Must have Canadian Citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work permit

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
