Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences and requirements
- Create interior design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Develop detailed design plans, including layout, color schemes, materials, and furnishings
- Select and source furniture, fixtures, lighting, and other decorative elements
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of design projects
- Oversee the installation of design elements and ensure they meet quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in interior design technology
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, CAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Compensation:
- Compensation is comprised of a base salary + bonuses, which are paid each pay period. The expected annual income ranges for the various titles are outlined below:
- Design Assistant: $42,000 to 50,000
- Associate Designer: $48,000 to 65,000
- Senior Associate: $63,000 to $90,000
- In addition, designers receive up to 4 weeks paid vacation, allowance for partial remote work time, extended medical/dental health plan, and cell phone allowances.
