JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Assistance in conducting audit, review and compilation engagements
· Assistance in preparation of financial statements and related note disclosures
· Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
· Performing various bookkeeping assignments
· Preparation of payroll, HST, WSIB, T4, T5, etc.
· Communication with clients/banks/government
· Working closely with staff, managers and partners
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree/post secondary education in accounting
· Some practical experience in public accounting firms
· Fluent in English and Mandarin
· Knowledge of Caseware, Taxprep and Quickbooks is an asset
· Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Solid organizational and time management skills
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
· Strong interpersonal skills
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
