Some of our Large and Midsize Legal Clients in Barrie, Haliburton, West Gwilford, Guelph, Peterborough, Kitchener, Huntsville, Whitby and Toronto are looking for some experienced Real Estate Lawyers for their busy offices .
The ideal candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handing all aspect of real estate transactions from start to end
Review mortgage commitments and documents, pre-construction sale agreements, status certificates
Draft security documents
Reviewing Title Searches, Requisition Letters, Meeting with clients in person or over Zoom to review documentation, Attend to closings, Registering transactions and documents on Teraview, Reviewing Reporting letters
Supervise and assist junior and senior law clerks handling high volume of residential and refinance, purchase and sale transactions
REQUIREMENTS:
4-7 years work experience at a real estate law firm, high volume preferred
Professional, punctual and excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines;
Strong organizational skills;
Willingness to take initiative and ability to work independently;
Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Working knowledge of Teraview
Candidates with a full or partial practice will be preferred.
