Context:
- Alfredo is a BIPOC, female-owned and global award winning commercial production company. Alfredo’s unique lens invites collaboration with creators all over the world, representing directors from Canada, the UK, the US, Europe and West Asia. They strive to create a more inclusive commercial production industry that welcomes diverse perspectives to the table. - Alfredo is looking for an entry level in-house production coordinator to help on a project to project basis as well as on business admin in general
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Directors and Treatments
- Coordinating director flights and accommodations, and ground transportation
- Coordinating director entry requirements and paperwork
- Director/ talent search as needed
- Proofread pitch treatments for grammar and spelling
- Assist with reference hunting (research) for treatments where needed and assist in the cataloging of references
- Maintaining the director catalog with new finds and new signs
Projects and Productions
- Attending production meetings as needed
- Attending set
- Assist with project to project production coordination as needed ie location scouting, equipment quoting and freelance searches
- Coordinating gift bags for client and agency - assist with ideation and creation
Business Management:
- Updating the script log and keeping on top of incoming script specs, personnel and shortlists
- Updating the freelancer log as needed (ie treatment designers, graphic designers, freelancers)
- Basic social media asset creation as needed - including featuring existing directors’ work on instagram
- Searching/ keeping a log of restaurants for client meetings and booking reservations where needed
- Keeping the vimeo updated with all directors on roster’s work
- Keeping Dropbox updated with Alfredo work
The Ideal Candidate:
- Eager to learn the ropes of commercial production both from a business and project to project perspective
- Eager to work on a small team working closely with the partners and exec producers of the company, with the ambition to build a career in commercial production
Knows the basics of Google Suite, excel, word and is intuitive with basic design programs including the Adobe Suite
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
