CR Lawyers LLP is a well-established full-service law firm now located in three communities in downtown Campbell River, Courtenay, and Comox. We are currently seeking two(2) full time Junior Legal Assistants for our Campbell River location. The successful candidates will work in either our litigation department or with our solicitor team. While legal experience is an asset, it is not mandatory and we encourage interested candidates with office experience and exceptional customer service to apply
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, hard working, team players who thrive in a fast paced environment. Our firm is willing to offer training to the selected applicants, who will have the opportunity to grow and develop their skillset while gaining experience in very busy law office.
Ideal qualifications:
- At least one year experience at a law firm would be preferred, but not necessary.
- Well organized with strong attention to detail & verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using various computer software programs, fax machine, copiers & scanners.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily work deadlines.
Duties Include but not limited to:
- Carry out administrative duties such as answering emails, organizing appointments, making photocopies, scanning or other duties designated.
- Draft documents and letters.
- Client billing & collecting.
- File organization.
- Managing schedules for multiple lawyers.
Work Hours & Benefits
This position is a Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm at our Campbell River location with a one-hour unpaid lunch.
