Solutions Pest Control Ltd. is a locally owned pest control company that has been providing pest and wildlife control services throughout Metro Vancouver & Sea to Sky for over 17 years. We are seeking a *Part Time / Casual Office Ninja* in our Squamish HQ to help bring our amazing level of customer service, knowledge and experience beginning summer 2023. Ideally you will:
- Have a minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
- Enjoy the comforts of an office environment and communication with customers.
- Love working in a high paced team setting.
- Hold your own in a lively debate over the latest realty TV shows or Netflix binge.
- Have a passion for providing wonderful customer service in person & on phone.
- Have knowledge of lower mainland and sea to sky geography and travel throughout.
- Be technologically proficient with Gmail, Microsoft Office and this new fad called the interweb.
You definitely must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or possess a valid work visa.
- Have some customer level of recent service experience.
- Have a clean driving record & no criminal record.
- Have the ability to listen to a customer and quickly determine their needs.
- Read, write, type & speak English fluently.
- Be able to navigate a computer whilst talking on the phone to frantic customers (yes I said whilst).
- Have a passion for providing wonderful customer service (yes we know it's been mentioned - that's how important it is!).
- Have a sense of humour and like a dog-friendly, yet scent-free, office space.
Your next adventure will include (but not be limited to):
- Scheduling & dispatching pest management & wildlife technicians for services in a variety of locations throughout the lower mainland and sea to sky.
- Working alone & with other team members.
- Writing detailed communications to clients and fellow employees.
- Instructing & informing customers on specific pest and wildlife issues provided to them by Solutions.
- Learn & maintain knowledge of pest issues and current treatments.
- Maintain professional appearance of yourself.
