Working closely with the lawyer(s) in all aspects of an immigration law file, including – drafting legal submissions, forms, and supporting documents

Manage intake process with highly effective use of technology-based client tools

Ensure confidentiality of all client-related documents and information

Ensure complete and timely completion of all files
Responsibilities:-
Drafting immigration applications for review by immigration lawyers and communicating with clients by email and telephone
Qualifications:-
Must understand Canadian and/or US immigration law and be committed to learning and improving

Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a law firm
Preparation of draft immigration law forms

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to directly communicate with clients to obtain information, schedule appointments, and answer questions

Ability to write immigration-related content for social media use

A willingness to learn and adopt new ways to approach immigration law with a heavy focus on client satisfaction and the use of technology

Very strong technical skills in Microsoft, Google, and other technology

Handling a high volume of files in a proficient and efficient manner;

Office management skills, including the ability to organize and maintain electronic files in a paperless law firm environment
