Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Services - Operations, this position is accountable for the efficient coordination and operation of the office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role aides in the planning and execution of work to support the goals and objectives of the portfolio, specifically as it relates to the COO, and other members of the team. The Executive Coordinator is accountable for project management support, office management, issues management, committee support, stakeholder (internal and external) liaison, and executive administrative support. This includes supporting the development of a variety of documents, serving as a special project resource as required, booking, and providing support for meetings and events, efficient coordination and operation of the day-to-day activities of the team, and performing other related duties. The position is also involved in the successful development, implementation and communication of projects or initiatives. This role serves as the first point of contact for this office and as such the Executive Coordinator must excel at collaboration and teamwork, always maintaining a professional level of tact. Ability to prioritize requests and duties, and ability to work in a busy environment is key to this position.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in a health care related discipline or business required. Minimum 3 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written are required. Must have strong problem-solving skills and be able to make recommendations based on analysis. Attention to detail is required. Ability to prioritize and be highly organized is a must.
