Job Description
- Operate cash register
- Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
- Scan items
- Tabulate total payment for goods or services required
- Receive payment for goods or services
- Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- Suggestive selling
- Stock shelves and clean counter area
- Greet customers
- Wrap or place merchandise in bags
- Provide customer service
- Assist customers with self-checkout
- Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary
- Participate in promotional activities
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
Additional responsibilites include scanning, storing UPS packages and retrieving accordingly when the customer is ready for pickup. Preparing shipping packages, and scanning when customer is dropping off the packages.
Education : High School
Qualification : Sales Experience.
Skill requirements: Has experience in sales management / retail / wholesale management.
Language : Should be able to communicate in English
Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years.
