What you’ll do:

Collaborate seamlessly with team members to provide comprehensive support in triaging and managing legal requests related to Dealer Applications; displaying swift responsiveness to inquiries, consistently meeting deadlines, and fostering harmonious cooperation within the Legal department and across various departments.

Establish, maintain, update and when necessary, revise Legal and Dealer files; tracking progress on legal matters relating to the Company’s Dealer Application process, Corporate Legal Project progression and monitoring legal intake.

Review and summarize corporate, security, bankruptcy, and other searches for Clerks and/or Counsel.

Prepare, format, convert and edit standard legal documents, legal correspondence, and Dealer-related materials.
- Troubleshoot document issues and assist with advanced document processing tasks, such as hyperlinks, bookmarks, and cross-referencing.

Efficiently coordinate calendar appointments, resolving any scheduling conflicts. Book meeting facilities and oversee any other meeting requirements.

Perform administrative work related to files including tracking outside counsel invoices, arranging for payment of third-party invoices, and other accounting related matters.

Assist in the development and maintenance of standard office precedents, policies, protocols, and procedures.
What we’re looking for:
-
Legal Assistant, Law Clerk or Paralegal College Diploma with 1-2 years of related experience.

Prior experience in a law firm or law department would be considered an asset.

Familiarity with one or more legal disciplines related to Home’s business: real estate, corporate/commercial transactions, contracts, litigation, or trademark work.

Highly competent in Microsoft Office suite, with expertise in Outlook.

Proficient with Adobe, DocuSign, and legal document management systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Ability to maintain accuracy with meticulous attention to detail.

Sound judgment, capacity to tackle tasks with agility, and a keen openness to learn.
