We are a boutique Civil and Commercial Litigation law firm located in downtown Toronto, seeking a LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT/FILING CLERK to join our team. We are an extremely efficient and hard working law firm, but we also bring a sense of humour to the office.
The position involves administrative work (eg. filing hardcopy and electronic documents, copying, mailing, etc), in addition to providing legal assistance to our law clerks and lawyers.
A Legal Assistant Certificate or Law Clerk Diploma is required.
The ideal candidate will
· have impeccable organizational skills
· be dedicated to high quality, accurate work with attention to detail
· be able to work independently, take direction well and work cooperatively within a team environment
· be highly motivated to learn and will take initiative
· be comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Working knowledge of PCLaw or Soluno and/or Worldox is an asset.
