To perform a variety of clerical accounting tasks in support of the accounting functions. Duties include but not limited to:
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage and post daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
- Prepare checks, payments, and bank deposits
- Maintain internal control systems
- Comply with relevant reporting requirements
- Transfer data to general ledger
- Reconcile and balance all accounts
- Collect and analyze account data and generate financial reports
- Maintain complete filing system to support financial records
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate degree or Secondary school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE :
- 3+ years of accounts receivable and accounts payable experience
Training: Certification: APS, CAPS is an asset
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE LANGUAGE: English and French
COMPUTER: Microsoft Office Software, Outlook, QuickBooks
