ROLE: Oracle Financial System Administrator

LOCATION: Richmond Hill Corporate Office - (Hybrid - up to two days onsite as needed)

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Director, Software Development, the Oracle Financial System Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications with the initial focus on the ERP application. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure the accurate configuration, performance, and reliability of our Oracle Cloud applications.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Configure Oracle Fusion to align with our organization's specific financial processes and requirements, with focus on financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management)

Define and enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance requirements for Oracle Fusion Financials

Collaborate with finance and technology teams to gather requirements, design and implement solutions within Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards

Optimize Oracle Fusion Applications for performance and usability

Collaborate with the technical team to integrate Oracle Fusion with other systems and applications (third party and Venterra custom built applications)

Develop and execute test plans and provide training, technical support and troubleshooting expertise, addressing issues, and optimizing configurations as needed

Collaborate with Oracle support and vendors for advanced issue resolution

Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Other ad hoc initiatives and requests as required
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field

Proven experience as an Oracle Financials System Administrator or similar role

In-depth knowledge and experience configuring, maintaining and building solutions on Oracle Fusion Cloud applications specifically in the ERP module

Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles

Oracle Fusion Financials certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Specialist) considered assets
