Job Overview
Arolytics is looking for a Product Manager to join our fast growing team. We are looking for an experienced (2+ years) Product Manager who enjoys working in a fast paced 0-1 startup landscape.
The Product Manager will be responsible for key problem areas identified for our customers, and support driving the Product Vision and Product Strategy for AroViz, an emissions management SaaS platform. The person will be responsible for fully understanding the needs of our customers and target market and prioritizing the problems according to the Product Strategy and Product Goals. This role will report directly to the Head of Product.
The ideal candidate has 2 years minimum Product Management experience, working closely with a cross functional team, and can prove to have successfully delivered on Product Goals in a B2B SaaS environment. It's considered a strong asset if the candidate has experience in the emissions management industry.
Objectives of the Role
The Product Manager will be responsible for all things Product Management, including:
- Drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams
- Analyze customer needs, current market trends and ruthlessly prioritize problems accordingly.
- Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
- Analyze product requirements and work closely with design and engineering teams to build the right solutions for our customers and add impact to the business.
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product life cycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
- Confidently able to manage continuous Product Discovery efforts with our customers to ensure we’re always solving the right problems with the right solutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization
- As with the excitement of a fast growing startup, we have to wear several hats. For the beginning this Product Manager is expected to act as the Product Owner in the Scrum framework
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2 year of experience as a Product Manager
- Ability to indicate an insatiable curiosity to improve your “PM craft”
- Strong experience in a dynamic Product Management role
- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
- High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
- Experience in building a B2B SaaS product in the (Oil & Gas) sustainability industry is considered a strong asset
Working Conditions
We are hiring Canada-wide, with preference for employees close to Calgary, AB. This is a hybrid position - both remote (home office) and downtown Calgary office-based.
