Centra Lawyers LLP, a medium sized full-service law firm in Maple Ridge, is looking for a lawyer to join our team. The current opening is for an intermediate associate in our litigation department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience and be committed to client service excellence. This is a great opportunity for a lawyer to become an integral part of a fast-growing law firm. The ideal candidate will have:
· Called to the Bar and is licensed to practice law in British Columbia
· A minimum of five years of post-call litigation experience
· Experience conducting, independently and running lengthy court trials
· Experience with managing own files from inception, trial preparation and representation
· Experience in managing litigation, arbitrations, mediations and discoveries
· Knowledge of Provincial and Supreme Court including Family Law
· Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent research and writing skills
· Must be entrepreneurial and willing to market the firm within the community
