Bevo Farms Ltd is the largest supplier of propagated plants in North America, providing greenhouses, field farms, nurseries, and wholesalers across the continent with healthy, vigorous, pest-and-disease-free plants. Bevo operates three sites in the lower mainland of British Columbia and two facilities in the province of Alberta.
SUMMARY
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Executive Assistant to support our Senior Executive Team (SLT) with calendar, travel, and email/document management. If you are an organized, resourceful, problem solver with a passion for creating efficiency across the senior management team, we’d like to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calendar Management: Schedule and coordinate meetings. Prioritize and handle any conflicting priorities including flagging upcoming items
- Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and book travel arrangements through the applicable provider or contact person. Prepare itineraries ensure calendars for these arrangements are up to date, including expense reporting
- Meeting organization: Ensure meetings are organized with all appropriate attendees and materials required, including but not limited to refreshments. Take meeting minutes as requested
- Records Management: Assist in managing business documents within an organized system
- General office duties including assisting with data entry, reception, accounts payable, and other administrative tasks as required
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE
- Highly professional and ability to work with confidential matters: maintain a high level of confidence when managing sensitive information including documents
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to balance multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities
- At least three years experience working as an Executive Assistant for Senior Management preferred
- Strong working knowledge with MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral. Dutch language would be an asset
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with executive team to anticipate needs
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
