Are you passionate about the Credit Market? We are growing! We are seeking three Analysts to join the Direct Credit team across various strategies focused on delivering significant value-add over and above a credit benchmark.
The Direct Credit Team is looking to add one Analyst within each of the following groups:

Public Fundamentals: Candidate will have a strong corporate fundamental analysis background, be able to analyze financial statements, produce financial models and forecasts and will be interested in single name credit selection.

Quantitative Credit: Candidate will require a combination of investment knowledge and technical software skills and apply those to research and development of systematic strategies.

Structured Credit: Candidate will have a balance of fundamental and analytical skills to support the underwriting and management of Structured Credit investments with a focus on Asset Backed Financing (ABF) and Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) transactions.
Who you’ll work with

Our Credit team is a group of over thirty experienced professionals who invest across the full spectrum of credit products employing diverse investment styles including fundamental analysis (public and private), enhanced indexing, quantitative, structured, thematic strategies, as well as fund investments.

You will work within a team passionate about credit investing in global single name, index, or structured product strategies across the credit spectrum including loans, high yield (HY) and investment grade (IG). As an Analyst you will have the ability to deploy risk within given risk budgets and constraints.

As part of a dynamic trading floor environment, you will be able to interact and work with other groups in Capital Markets, leveraging the expertise of over 100 investment profession.
What you’ll do

Undertake trade and data analysis, in order to recommend and assist in the optimal portfolio construction and implementation of risk deployment.

Build, maintain and enhance in-house analytical tools, frameworks, and reports.

Assist in the research and development of new strategies. Contribute to new idea generation as well as the expansion and optimization of existing strategies. Develop and enhance the dialogue, communication, and relationships with external counterparties and stay on top of important market developments. Gain insight into credit market microstructure by assisting with the daily monitoring and management of a wide array of credit and fixed income products.

Build effective partnerships with key stakeholders across the Capital Markets department.

Undergraduate or graduate degree in a discipline such as Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

Strong analytical and intellectual capability: must be confident and comfortable with efficiently performing in-depth analysis using quantitative or fundamental techniques.

A strong sense and intuition of risk, along with a great passion for developing a career in investment risk-taking.

Good knowledge and understanding of products and risks within the Credit asset class a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: must work well within a team, have genuine collaborative and team-oriented spirits and be able to present ideas.

A passion for financial markets, trading, and investing.

Experience: Up to 1 year of experience in credit, investing, or capital markets.
