ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an excellent opportunity for a legal administrative assistant looking to gain experience and work in a variety of different practice areas such as civil litigation, family law and estate litigation. You will be supporting 2 lawyers.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As an LAA you will be responsible for the following:

File management and organization
- Updating and maintaining files, correspondence, binders, and other components
- Prepare legal documents, memos, pleadings, applications, letters and other documents
- Maintain an efficient BF system
- Coordinating service and filing, including online filing of proceedings with agencies and courts
- Prepare simple affidavits of records
- Opening and closing files
- Invoicing
- Correspondence with clients and other parties
- All other administrative duties as required
REQUIREMENTS

LAA Diploma a strong asset
- 2-4+ years of experience in litigation
- Civil, family or estates experience preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with MS Office, Clio and NetDocuments
- Mandarin fluency also a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$45,000 - $65,000
- 3 weeks vacation
