What You’ll Do
The Legal Administrative Assistant is responsible for:
- Preparing correspondence, documents and pleadings
- Serving and filing court documents
- Scheduling dates for Examinations for Discovery and Trials
- Communicating and corresponding with all involved parties (clients, opposing counsels, experts and others)
- Managing emails and maintaining calendars
- Other administrative duties as required
What You Bring
- Lawyer – Minimum 3 years of personal injury (plaintiff or defence) experience required, this must include some trial experience
- Legal Administrative Assistant – Minimum 2 years of general litigation experience
- Outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to juggle competing priorities in a high-volume environment
- Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills
- Impressive organization skills
