The responsibilities of this job include all aspects of day-to-day wilderness fishing resort grounds maintenance and guest assistance. Duties will include but not be limited to, loading and unloading float planes, fueling and cleaning guest boats, assisting guests around the docks and grounds, mowing grass and trimming, cutting and stacking firewood, painting, general maintenance of cabins and outbuildings and general handyman duties.
Applicants must be in good general overall health and be able to lift 50lbs without assistance. Must be self- motivated with a good work ethic and have a positive attitude. Must be service oriented and be willing to assist guests at all times. Must be able to work alone and well with others. Must take instruction and perform a task to completion without assistance. Must possess general handyman skills and have experience safely using hand tools, power tools, ground maintenance equipment and able to operate a small outboard boat and motor.
Prior wilderness resort experience is preferred but not required. Couples are welcome to apply as we are looking for a kitchen helper/cabin cleaning staff as well. Room and board is included in a salary based wage. At least 3 references are required.
