This position is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days in office.

The role will work closely with a group of Patent Agents and fellow Legal Assistants who provide triaging and coordination of all Firm and client-related activities for the Patent Agents, thereby allowing them to concentrate on providing valuable legal services to clients.
Position Requirements:
Education and Experience
The successful incumbent will have a Community College Certificate in a Legal Secretarial Assistant program or equivalent. Ideal candidate would possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Legal Secretarial Assistant role. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong communication, organizational and technical skills (MS Office suite).
- Extensive knowledge of Canadian Patent prosecution would be an asset.
- Proactive, and work well in both a team and independent work environment.
- Show initiative and display an interest in developing their knowledge of this practice area.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable attention to detail is required.
