We are currently recruiting for a full-time, contract Operations Administrator starting immediately to May 1, 2024 in our Waterloo office. This position is structured as a hybrid role, working from our Waterloo office on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the remainder of the days working from home.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with various administrative duties (data entry, meeting bookings, document preparation)
- Professional and courteous handling of client service enquiries (phone and email)
- Executing transactions as requested by Portfolio Managers and Financial Planners
- Reconciliations
- Assisting team with quarterly statement production
- Completing day-to-day scanning and filing of confidential client documents
- Supporting the team with other projects and responsibilities as required
The successful candidate will have:
- Post-secondary education or previous banking/wealth management experience
- Ability to take initiative, ownership of outcomes and a proactive work approach
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Understands and recognizes priorities and operates with a sense of urgency
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
