Achievers’ Legal Team is looking for an experienced and passionate Paralegal and Contract Administrator to help support this fast-paced team. As the newest addition to our team, the Legal Assistant will play a pivotal role in keeping the team functioning efficiently, from maintaining legal request queue, contract management and maintaining complete and accurate files. This person will build collaborative working relationships with our legal team — and earn the trust of our internal and external customers. The ideal candidate is organized, diligent, and can work both independently and as part of a team. You will provide paralegal and administrative support to the entire legal team comprising lawyers and contract managers
- Maintain and organize Achievers’ contracts database, administer and manage contracts, as well as oversee the process by which contracts are consolidated, created, and executed, including managing tracking, monitoring and notifications and renewals for all current contracts.

Perform legal administrative duties, such as maintaining and triaging the legal ticket queue, template management, e-signature management, legal team calendars, scheduling team and inter-departmental meetings, knowledge management and maintenance of Legal Team’s shared folders (OneNote) and internal SharePoint site.
- Perform corporate document management for Achievers’ legal entities.

Manage the legal team budget and invoicing for external legal engagement and other resources allocated to the Legal Team

Learn new software and other legal technology solutions as required (e.g., e-billing, contract and document management, approval workflow, e-signature, knowledge management, etc.) and train others on how to use them most effectively depending on their needs.

Provide support to resolve complex contract and transactional matters by organizing, reviewing and preparing documents and maintaining relevant files.

Assist with the preparation and delivery of materials/resources such as enablement job-aids and FAQs, process and procedures documents, training materials, policy documents and guidelines.

Perform various ad hoc assignments related to department deliverables, i.e., follow up on requests the department receives for information and documents and administrative support as requested.

General administrative duties including drafting letters and other correspondence, reviewing and processing legal invoices and other administrative duties.

University degree or college diploma in a related discipline required.

2-4 years experience in a similar role; Contract Management experience is a plus.

Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Powerpoint.

Working knowledge of contract management software (CLM or Contract Post-execution management tool)
- Familiar with a variety of legal concepts, practices, and procedures, with special emphasis on contract terminology, negotiations and commercial work.

Ability to work independently, prioritize and work under multiple deadlines and for multiple Legal Team members, and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Prior experience in a legal support role is a plus.
