About the role
The Senior Accountant will work as part of the Accounting Team responsible for the preparation of North American financial statements. The Senior Accountant must ensure that the statements are accurate and complete. Other important tasks include, reviewing general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements for affiliated companies and special projects as requested.
How you will make an impact
- Provide an important contribution during the month-end close process
- Complete various year-end audit requirements
- Provide strong analysis of various Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts
- Participate in projects involving continuous improvement in both efficiency and reporting
- Complete special projects as required
We’re looking for someone with
- University degree in Accounting
- Professional designation (CPA)
- 4+ years experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Multinational company experience
- Knowledge of Oracle / Hyperion (an asset)
