ABOUT THE ROLE –
ERIKS are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this is a challenging role managing ‘Special Contracts’ ensuring all quality aspects required are met within the strict constraints of the specific contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
All requirements must be delivered “on time and in full” achieving all agreed highly specific customers’ requests and ensuring all identified complexities are met to the high standard of the customer

Ensure inventory is receipted and dispatched within the strict timescales agreed

Quality assurance checks are completed to ensure all parts received comply with the customers delivery requirements

Certificate required made available
-
Discrepancies and non-conformances are logged for further action by the Quality Engineering team
-
Escalation process is followed for all stakeholders
-
Support Quality Engineers and COA team as requested to process stock returns and complete parts reworks (repackaging) as and when required
-
Complete and maintain records of inspection / stock processing, and ensure any non-conforming product is segregated, identified and logged to allow the Quality Engineering team to process

Manage the Special Contract Warehouse team assuring competence, objective setting and management and daily safety of the team

Investigate and compile management reports detailing remedial actions/recommendations on accidents and incidents where required

Assist with the preparation of risk assessments and method statements

Proactively contribute to the continual improvement process to support the FCE Operations and related special contracts

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Have previous experience in a customer facing role
-
Have previous experience managing and working within a fast-paced logistics environment (up to 10 operatives)

Have previous experience of Quality control processes – ensuring effective checks of product is made before despatch
-
Strong organisational skills
-
Be proficient on Warehouse management systems (Dispatcher WMS desirable)

Be logical thinking, self-motivated, and have a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving
-
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure is essential
-
Experience in Lean or Kaizen Management is both desired and beneficial
