Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Stone Shop Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position should have good communication skills and a positive attitude. While experience is a benefit, it is not necessary, as we will provide training for technical skills in the shop.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate stone countertops and other stone products according to customer specifications
- Use various tools and equipment, such as saws, polishers, and routers
- Work with team members to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment as required
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed (a forklift certificate is a benefit but not a necessity, as we will pay for the certification)
Requirements:
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret measurements
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy stone slabs and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
